
BGSU Firelands, located in Huron, Ohio, offers a high-quality education and all the resources of a large university. The college features the 360 Degree Program, which is designed around students' unique needs. Students can choose from 14 associate degree programs representing 22 areas of study and eight four-year bachelor's degree programs, all which can be completed right on the Firelands campus. The associate degree programs are designed to prepare students for transfer to bachelor's programs or for entry into the job market in a technical or paraprofessional area. Master's degrees and one-year certificate program in education and nursing are also offered.
The 44 full-time faculty make teaching their highest priority. They also remain involved in research and professional activities that enable them to bring the latest knowledge to their classrooms. The Teaching and Learning Center on campus provides free tutoring and academic support in nearly every discipline. Through Career Services, students receive career counseling, job search assistance and access to a world of career information via the Web. The campus is completely wireless, with 12 labs and more than 300 computers accessible to students across campus.
