About the Annual Report

In October 2015, the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) introduced the Changing Campus Culture initiative with the goal of ending sexual violence at Ohio colleges and universities.  Governor John R. Kasich and the Ohio Legislature allocated $2 million to help colleges and universities implement best practices set forth in Ohio’s Changing Campus Culture initiative.  To encourage all colleges and universities in Ohio to build upon the training and education opportunities provided ODHE raised the reporting criteria for year two.  This year 80 Ohio campuses have reported back on their progress with thirty-eight campuses in Ohio having earned the distinction of achieving 5 out of 5 of the recommendations.  The efforts reported by campuses across the state demonstrate an ongoing commitment to utilizing the training and education provided through the Changing Campus Culture initiative to end sexual violence on campus.
