College Partners Lead Cost-Saving Degree Initiative for Central Ohio College Students

What:
Education leaders will outline statewide initiatives under way to help make college more affordable for students and families, with emphasis on replicating a model for “3+1” degrees in Ohio, where students complete three years of a four-year degree at a community college before transferring to a four-year university for their final year. Columbus State’s 3+1 partnership with Franklin University will be discussed, and media will have an opportunity to conduct one-on-one interviews after the event.
