What: The Ohio Board of Regents’ annual Trustees Conference will spotlight innovation in education and feature a special announcement by Gov. John Kasich and Dr. E. Gordon Gee about a new statewide higher education initiative. Also on the conference schedule are three discussion panels that highlight strategies for using innovative techniques and technology to enhance the higher education experience. Chancellor John Carey visits Lorain County Community College for a campus tour and media event that will highlight the higher education aspects of the state budget and showcase LCCC’s commercialization and workforce development efforts. Chancellor Cary will be joined by Lorain County Community College President Roy Church; Ohio Board of Regents Vice Chancellor Gary Cates; members of the Ohio Board of Regents; local business officials.
