The Ohio Board of Regents, a nine-member advisory board to the Chancellor, appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Ohio Senate, with two ex-officio Representatives from the state legislature.
The Board of Regents-Chief Information Officer Advisory Board advises the Chancellor on OARnet’s development and direction of the integrated technology infrastructure needed to support to Board of Regents education and technology programs.
Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor John Carey; State Superintendent Dr. Richard Ross; Shawnee State University President Rita Rice Morris; area high school superintendents, principals, and students will take part in a roundtable discussion of College Credit Plus, the statewide initiative that will, beginning with the 2015-16 school year, allow students in grades 7-12 to earn college credit and high school credit simultaneously.
The Condition Report Subcommittee will hold a special meeting for the purpose of receiving a briefing from Ohio Board of Regents staff on the status of the development of the Eighth Report on the conditions of Higher Education. The committee will also discuss and determine the process by which the subcommittee and full board will receive information related to the Eighth Report, including, identifying potential individuals and organizations to testify before the subcommittee and the board, and holding focus groups.
