Tuition Reciprocity Summary

Overview

  • May be created pursuant to §3333.17 of the Ohio Revised Code
  • Creates access opportunities while reducing tax payer burden
  • Allows residents to attend out-of-state institutions at instate rates
  • Agreements are institution, county, and program specific
  • Must be renewed every two-years, by June 30, to align with the State’s biennial budget
  • Enrollment data monitored to ensure there is parity in terms of the student exchange
