A list of each institution’s veteran office contact information can be used to ensure good communication across the system for veterans and university/college staff working with veteran students.

 

The Department of Veterans Services in Ohio focuses on communicating and coordinating programs with and for veterans.

 

Every County Veterans Service Office in Ohio is listed on this website.

 

Ohio National Guard Community Outreach supports and collaborate with organization and community partners in coordinating events for the veteran community.

 

 

The mission of the Ohio Inter-Service Family Assistance Committee (ISFAC) is to support, offer assistance, and act as a conduit to resources for all Ohio service members, veterans, and military families.  Its purpose is to connect the military community with national, state, regional, and community resources ,as well as volunteer support opportunities.  ISFAC is a statewide organization and holds quarterly meetings to share and discuss issues related to service members, veterans, and their families.

 

The Ohio Department of Veterans Services maintains a list of veterans organizations that University System of Ohio institutions may be able to work with in collaboration to provide support for their student veterans and service members.
 

The Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Educational Outreach Office offers a variety of free programs to educators, students, and schools in the local community.
 

The United States Coast Guard Base Cleveland is a regional command that provides logistics, engineering, administrative, financial, purchasing, and health care services to Coast Guard units throughout the entire eight state Great Lakes region.
